DELICIOUS CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
    • 3 cups wheat flour
    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 tablespoon baking soda
    • 1 cup Xoc Mix or Xocopinho Turbinado cocoa powder
    • 1 cup oil
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 cup boiling milk
    • Margarine and flour to grease

TOP:

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Xoc Mix or Xocopinho Turbinado cocoa powder
  • 1 colher (sopa) de manteiga

PREPARATION:

In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking soda and Xoc Mix or Xocopinho Turbinado cocoa powder. Add the oil, eggs and boiling milk, mixing constantly not to form lumps, and pour it into an average rectangular greased and floured baking tray.  Take it to pre-heated, medium-temperature oven for about 30 minutes or until a stuck toothpick comes out clean.  Take it out of the oven, let it cool and then remove from tray. In a bowl, mix the evaporated milk, sugar, cocoa powder and butter. Pour over the cake and serve it.

DICA:

  • For a shiny top, melt the butter in low fire, add sugar and Xoc Mix or Xocopinho Turbinado cocoa powder, and then stir until dissolving.
  • Finally, add evaporated milk without serum and stir until thick
  • Pour over the cake and serve it
